Some developers got tired of waiting for Sprint (go figure) and created an app store for the Instinct. Yippee! Although there are only a few apps, it's a few more than we had (0)! You can try anything you want for free but eventually some apps will come with a price tag.
Some of the apps are just for fun but I have found the Stock Ticker very handy for up to date stock prices on my Instinct. I didn't have to read any instructions and the download was fast and installation was instant. LOVE IT and you will too. Go check it out.
There is also an application that allows you to "scream" a text message. It uses a large font and scrolls the message across the screen. So, if you're in a loud or crowded room, you can "get your message across" by just holding up your phone for the other person to see. Pretty cool, I'm waiting for an opportunity to use it.
It took a year or more for IPhone App Store to show up, but we only had to wait a few months (yes it felt like an eternity). Does this mean that Instinct owners are more demanding and/or ingenious than IPhone owners. While you ponder this, go and check out the Samsung Instinct site below and get some new apps for you phone while we wait for Sprint to bring it!
